Born in Kansas but raised in Tucson, Arizona from the age three, Bobbi Jane Tucker has been surrounded by both photography and the western life. Bobbi enjoyed taking photos as a kid making “pretend” film when there wasn’t any. Her dogs were her models. Her junior year in high school she dropped out of Algebra II to take Photography. And the rest is truly western history! After high school she attended Colorado Institute of Art majoring in Photography. Those were still the “film” days and finding a job in a photography related field was slim.
Now nearly 19 years later after a career path in sales and marketing, she has launched her own photography business. Way Out West Photography, LLC. Bobbi considers her photography style to be “photojournalism” capturing the moment, subject and light as is. “The richness that digital gives the photographs is amazing.,” explains Bobbi. She is unique and untraditional in her photography artwork using recycled frames without glass or reclaimed wood for display. Her favorite is to see the detail and richness when her photographs are reproduced on Canvas Gallery Wraps.
Bobbi moved to Prescott, Arizona in 2008. She started her photography business in Prescott with many happy clients over the next 4 years.
September of 2012, Bobbi moved back to her hometown, Tucson. She is available in Tucson and throughout the state of Arizona for photographing events and weddings.
Bobbi enjoys working with local businesses to capture their unique images to use for websites and other forms of marketing. Bobbi offers a variety of photography services including portraits, pets, weddings, events, bands, architectural, real estate and more.
